How It All Started

Seventeen years ago, I moved to Germany to begin a new chapter in my life. Friends and family warned me that obtaining a visa to live and study here would be extremely difficult because of the language barriers and complex bureaucracy.

I believed that with the right information, careful preparation, and persistence, it was possible—and I succeeded. That decision gave me the opportunity to study, work, and build a life in Germany.

Germany has given me many opportunities. In return, I wanted to support others who were searching for new opportunities for themselves, their employees, or their families. This personal mission became the foundation of Smooth Transitions.

Through my own experiences with immigration authorities in several German cities, many years working in human resources, and more than seven years in the Employer of Record (EOR) industry, I developed an in-depth and practical understanding of German employment, payroll, and immigration processes.
